for my final animation i decided to create it on archery here is the animation from 3 different perspectives

We had to create an animation using lip sync for development for our animation, i created one using a sound file from moviewavs, the sound file was from toy story because i thought it would be slighty easier to animate a cartoon or something similar, i crated the lip sync in maya and then i tried to export it, when i exported it the timings on all the audio was different to what it was inside of maya so i had some difficulties trying to line up the audio with the video. i ended up having to fully render the scene and line up the sound with after effects.

For the final animation i chose to do archery, for this i needed some sort of reference to help me create the spacing and timing for the video of my animation, i used a video from youtube to help me that is from the indoor archery championships, this was quite good for the poses and positioning of the hands of the character for the animation.

This is a walk cycle i created using a model that i created myself a while back, although this is a really bad model i had to move the bones inside of the character itself to create it and make sure that the leg bones didn't effect other joints such as the arms and the same with the arms joints not effecting the legs joints.

here are some random character poses that i drew with points to help show where the joints in the model will be placed and also because some of the poses could be related to the final Olympic animation.

This is a walk cycle that i created using the max for maya character rig, the character rig is quite nice to use and i found it quite easy to animate him, he also has some interesting features where u can change the facial expression too, making this quite useful for a lot of different animations.
This is the video collection of the results from the ball bounces which we collected and posted the results of on my blog earlier
This is a ball bouce animation that i created using tangents and the graph editor to help make me create the 2nd half of the bounce, this smooths out the animation and makes it overall look alot smoother and more realistic, I found this a useful task to get used to controlling my animations with the graph editor and now i use it to help me create most animations i do from now on.

This is a screenshot of the view of the graph editor that i used to edit the curve of the ball bounce
This was a 2nd attempt at making a ball bounce in maya and i also used stretch and squash on it to make it look more believable
